CAMP '25 – SENSORIUM
Calling All Magical People Festival in Darlington, Maryland is an outdoor three-day music and art festival in Maryland with a audience of 1000+ people co-creating immersive experiences.
The SENSORIUM was one installation of many featured in the 2025 festival. The goal of this Sensorium iteration was to provide a large gathering space to enjoy music, provide visual interest with light, and excite the other senses in a self guided manner with written prompts for individuals, friends, and strangers could interact with.
Within the SENSORIUM festival-goers would dive into sensory experience with chill music, hypnotizing LED light art animation and other smell, taste & touch experiences.
A space was created that could host a myriad of events, adding visual interest with light, and offering other ways to excite the senses through self guided experiences.
The SENSORIUM was open 24/7 to campers with workshops scheduled in the space during the day, and self-serve sensory experiences (sound, touch, smell, taste) from dusk to dawn each night. A chill downtempo oasis designed to help CAMPers step away from thought and sink fully into sensation.
Thousand of LEDS respond to preprogrammed playlists, live DJ-ing, and musical performances.
Special moments arose over the course of the festival such as this impromptu sunrise poetry musical jam.
